Pindang ikan layang

Pindang by definition is the processed marine fish with boiling and salting technique. But pindang here is kind of cuisine with simpel spices and likely soup. Ikan layang or decapterus is marine fish from mackerel family. It is a kind of consumption food in Indonesia.


Ingredients:
Ikan layang or decapterus, cut into 2 pieces
lime juice
shallot, fine chopped
garlic, fine chopped
turmeric
ginger
red chilli, fine chopped
bay leaves
red cayenne pepper, fine chopped
brown sugar
mushroom bouillon powder
salt
mineral water

directions:
coat the fish with lime juice
keep it for while
boil the mineral water, add shallot, garlic, turmeric, ginger
add bay leaves
add red chilli and red cayenne pepper
add ikan layang
add brown sugar and mushroom bouillon powder
add salt
serve hot is better
